Maravia Infrastructure
Oxford American dictionaries defines Infrastructure as "the basic physical and organizational structures and facilities (e.g. buildings, roads and power supplies) needed for the operation of a society or enterprise". At Maravia Country Club Estates, after five years of engineering and permitting, infrastructure construction began in 2005 when heavy equipment began cutting roads into the desert hills where none had existed before. Those first dirt roads are now paved and this private, luxury residential development in La Paz has blossomed. To see homesites in Subdivision II (we call it "The Ridge at Maravia") please click here.

Numerous custom homes are now complete and more are under construction in Subdivision I (click here for map of Subdivisions I and II). Water lines are in (wells will be supplemented by a 1,000,000 gallon per day desalination plant nearing completion click here for photos) and all homes at Maravia use photovoltaic solar panels to capture the sun's energy for electrical power.

December 18, 2008 marked another milestone in the growth of Maravia as the first road for Subdivision II was begun. Bookmark this page as more photos will appear on a regular basis as infrastructure construction at Maravia goes forward. Click on images to enlarge view.
